IF YOU HAVE TO CRY GO OUTSIDE

Even though mother nature is being quite the little bitch about the weather, spring is upon us. YMG thinks this season is all about toughing it out.

Many things do not get YMG down, and they certainly don't get in her way. She is coining the term "tough fashion," defined as; when one dresses how she/he f*cking feels. YMG doesn't care what other people think about it. She is going to rock the dirty NYC sidewalk like a true badass, if you don't like it you can step aside.

What is NOT is the straight up epic-ness of these paintings. In the midst of her hippie street style obsession Your Main Girl came across these Johanne Corno paintings at Opera Gallery. Your Main Girl loves the sketchy style, aggressive poses, and mostly the peace signs. Corno's style shows emotion and expression by use of thick brush strokes. 

The girls in these paintings may be 1D but YMG thinks you can learn a thing or two from them.

Your Main Girl is having trouble really-finally-100 percent coming out of her winter hibernation. It seems every time she is ready to  make her mid-season debut something comes up to keep her tucked away in her cozy lair. YMG isn't used to these extreme weathers...she is stuck in the good ol' days when NY was a natural disaster free zone. Nonetheless, enough was enough... it was time she learned how to brave the storm. 

This weekend she kept it casual but dressy with high waisted leather shorts and her newbie slouchy Nirvana tank. Most importantly YMG is beyond obsessed with her Reed Krakoff Pouch that was gifted to her during the holiday season! She likes to carry it as a clutch or slip it in a tote rushing to work.
