After much waited anticipation the first issue of the new fashion magazine created by former Editor-In Chief of Vogue Paris,Carine Roitfeld has been revealed.The issue's theme is Rebirth "A story about second chances and active imaginations",it features swimsuit super-model Kate Upton being.....motherly and surprisingly classy.The pages are filled with creepy yet beyond amazing fashion editorials-Fashion Editorials like you have never seen before! Your Main Girl was even surprised to find compelling articles written by the likes of fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld & actress Ann Hathaway. MOVE OVER FROYO

There is a new dessert(and more) princess in town. The days of PinkBerry/YogiBerry/YumBerry/BerryBerry/GetOnMyBerry are behind us. Let me introduce you to the new kid in town: CHOBANI Yogurt Bar. Located in the heart of SOHO, Your Main Girl thinks this is the start of a yogurt revolution. Drop a FRO and add a GRE. The Greek Yogurt movement has been making shaking up the supermarkets aisles for a while now. But now it seems they are takin' it to the streets.

REBECCA MINKOFF, DONT EVEN.

I am going to start my first post off on a bad note because the shows that I hate are the ones that stick out most to me. Rebecca Minkoff beloved designer of the ever so popular and semi affordable Mini MAC bag needs to stick to what she knows. Two of the looks below were my least favorite from her show..

I do not think that the dress on the left flatters anyone not even the ultra skinny model who is wearing it. It is called the Ready To Wear collection for a reason. This dress looks like she took a table cloth and just simply decided to wrap it around the model. 

Besides the fact that I just do not like the jean on jean look EVER, this Rebecca Minkoff look is Tommy Bahama gone wrong. The look would have seemed a lot more classic and subtle if it was paired with a classic white jean jacket and flower-patterned printed jeans. 

Overall I have to say that most of Rebecca Minkoff's white looks were much too stark white. Although that seemed to be what everyone was doing for Spring 2013 many of her looks reminded me of 90's jean outfits gone wild wild west. Note to Rebecca Minkoff please skip your fifteen minutes of runway fame and keep making those fabulous bags and sunglasses!

DIY BANGLES

MATERIALS:
1. Paint Brush (1 or 2)
2. Plastic Bangles (Any craft store ie Michaels)
3. Clear Acrylic Sealer
4. Paint of any sort

STEP ONE:

Paint the bangles a solid base color (may need two coats in which case wait a few minutes before painting the second coat.)

STEP TWO: 

Choose a bad-a** pattern: Stripes or polka dots are easy. For the more confident (you can do it..) you can try flowers/cheetah print/zebra print/etc.

STEP THREE: 

Spray (outside) bangles with sealer. For that fiiiine-shine wait 15 minutes and spray again. BOOM. DONE.
